Me, Kristina and Kara, that's who!
Enjoy a little 13-song jaunt into the world of Belleville, Illinois' favorite sons, Wilco!
Posted by Robin at September 13, 2004 10:32 PM | TrackBackThis week's radio.blog makes me very happy. Almost as happy as the thought of John Edwards covered in Crisco.
Are you going to the show, Holley?
Posted by: Robin at September 14, 2004 01:29 PMI prefer Luke Wilson covered in KY jelly, a la "Old School" :)
Excellent selections!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by: Mrs. Ed O'brien at September 14, 2004 05:55 PMmmm, luke wilson.
hey, am i going to see wilco tomorrow? i had no idea. :D
Posted by: Star Monkeybrass at September 14, 2004 07:26 PMRobin -- Unfortunately, I will not be at the Wilco show. :( I've been spending too much on concert tix lately. Also I've seen Wilco before, so I'm cool. Hope you guys have fun, though!
Are you going to see The Bottle Rockets and Jay Farrar and others at The Pageant this weekend?
Posted by: stgermh at September 14, 2004 08:42 PMI would love to catch this weekend's show, but I feel a bit guilty about leaving Clara "Baby Daughter" Jane home with B. "Baby Daddy" so much. I went out tonight (and stayed out until the oh-so-late hour of 9 PM), and I'll probably be out every night that Kristina's here.
However, I spend every day alone with the kid, even when I'm working, so maybe it would serve Baby Daddy right.
Who wants to take me to The Pageant this weekend and help me party ... Festus-style?
(I love the Bottle Rockets. That's why I love eating at Iron Barley. They always have Festus' favorite sons playing on the sound system.)
Posted by: Robin at September 14, 2004 09:17 PMooh! me! i'll take you! provided that i get paycheck #1 in the bank or cashed before they close on saturday. :) it's seems wrong that i haven't actually seen my very own hometown heroes in concert. :D
