An Additional Halloween Costume Note
Candy corn-colored felt will turn the plate of a too-hot iron into candy corn-colors.
In addition, melted candy corn-colored felt? Almost as sticky as real melted candy corn.

Good to know - Halloween lessons learned...last year I discovered that fabric paint will go right thru the fabric and stain your tabletop.
i think i am avoiding any felt this year in favor of feathers and pirate/curtain-clip earrings...

i keep trying to tell you - riff-raff is the way to go. :D

Oh dear. You do not win today's Martha Stewart award. But you do win the "I wish I had been there to see the look on your face" consolatory plaque.

how many other times will you get make her some obscure person without a heck of a lot of back talk or people asking her about the cosutme. Riff Raff is the way to go.
You could cover her in tar and throw candy corns at her.

the best halloween costume I ever saw is NOT age appropriate, but the other comments made be think of it. It would certainly get a laugh.
All you need is a brown trash bag and some yellow post-it notes and you have "crap with corn."
I am sorry that your fairy craft-mother appears to be on vacation. I vote for Riff-Raff.
