Neighborhood Happenings
My next door neighbor? He has a big saw and is cutting a large hole in the side of his house.
That is all.

Sounds like a perfectly normal thing to do in January!

They removed the lovely little stained glass windows that have probably been in the house since it was built in the 1930s, replacing them with plain ol' windows, disturbing me and my kid in the process.
I'm not impressed.

They REMOVED stained glass windows and replaced them with ORDINARY windows. Yes, I realize that this is merely my 2nd post here ever, but I'm going to go have a conniption fit right now.
Not that stained glass means ANYTHING to me, ahem:

For some reason this immediately made me think of the old medical practice of burring holes in the skull with a drill to release the satanic spirits causing mental illness. Perhaps your neighbor is exorcising.
I desperately want to come stay on your block for a weekend, just to feel the freakness.
